Guest guest
OFF TOPIC - We interrupt this program . . . Sorry for this off topic post, but it seemed appropriate after several posts we have had in which members mentioned their dogs ;=) Nice posts! I'm not discouraging mention of dogs here - after all, it doesn't exactly dominate the discussion *lol* But I did want to say that anyone who has dogs of any breed would be most welcome to join my Townhounds list Townhounds/ It is not a vegan or vegetarian list - but there are some vegans/vegetarians on it ;=) The only big big big rule is that we don't permit *any* discussion of hunting. (No exceptions.) So please consider this your invitation ;=) List description follows. Best, Pat ;=) (And now, back to our regular programming.) INVITATION You are invited to join the email list 'Townhounds', which celebrated its first birthday at the beginning of November 2003! This list addresses the challenges and pleasures of living in urban areas with hounds and hound-mixes, hunting/sporting dogs, herding dogs, etc., but guardians of all breeds, especially but not exclusively those living in city centres, are most welcome. Note 1: This list is not the place to discuss the supposed unsuitability of certain breeds for city life. It is assumed that the dogs exist and that their guardians, wherever they may be now living, have made a commitment to their companion dogs. Support for that commitment is what this list hopes to provide. Note 2: This list is not for the discussion of hunting. If you would like to join us, we would look forward to chatting with you. Just click on the townhounds web address to join townhounds/ If you feel, however, that your interests would not be met by this group, please accept our apologies and just ignore this invitation. Thanks for your time ;=) FYI, the listowner is guardian to two beagles and lives in Canada ;=) Best, Pat Townhounds List Owner -- SANTBROWN townhounds/ vegetarianslimming/ HOMEPAGE: http://www.angelfire.com/art/pendragon/ ---------- * " There are too many idiots in this world.
