Guest guest
I would LOVE a healthy EASY recipe. I have never made bread. My mom has tried to get me to do it but i claim a fear of yeast. So, it would be GREAT to have an easy recipe to start with. I figure that ya'll aren't making white bread so i'm sure it's good. I can't stress the EASY part enough... detailed instructions or a link to a site would be great ) peace nikki I'm interested in anyone who likes to make bread - we bake all our ownbread, although since there are only the two of us (barring the furkids)in this household, that's not much ;=) But we like all kinds and I'd behappy to exchange ideas with you. I don't use a breadmachine, though, and half the time couldn't give a recipe because I kinda do it fromguess and from touch ;=)
Guest guest
So much of breadmaking *is* touch. I got a book a long time ago - don't know if it's even still in print: The Tassajara Bread Book. That's the one that made a real breadmaker out of me. It really explains the process. You can probably get a copy used for next to nothing. All whole-grain stuff too. These days I use the food processor for kneading. It just does a better job, much as I'd like to claim differently. :-)anne - goodkarma Wednesday, January 14, 2004 8:38 AM Baking bread Welcome Shara ;=) I would LOVE a healthy EASY recipe.
