Grosvenor Travel have organised a trip commencing 14th August to take in some exciting European cities such as Prague , Budapest and Vienna and raise funds for IVU. The tour is a five night one based in Bratislava with an optional two day extension in Prague at the end of the trip. It will begin and end at Prague with flights organised from a number of UK airports and members and supporters wishing to make their own arrangements to travel to Prague can take the tour only option. All menus will be vetted by the IVU chair to ensure that they are suitable and satisfactory for vegans and vegetarians and a packed lunch from a local vegetarian restaurant will ensure consistency on the very full day trips. As well as visiting castles, cathedrals and other historical delights it is hoped that opportunities can be built in to meet local vegetarians and help to raise the profile of the movement in the area. It may also be possible to organise one or more talks on the free day in Bratislava. Full details of the tour are available on www.ivu.org/tours and if you have any queries you can also email Tina Fox chair. ------------------------ VEGDINING.COM AWARDS ANNOUNCED TOP VEGETARIAN RESTAURANTS OF 2003 SELECTED; VegDining.com is pleased to announce the winners of its first annual Vegetarian Restaurants of the Year Awards.
