Okay, soya or soy comes from the soybean. It can come as flour, 'milk'

(also in powder form), tofu, the beans themselves, or made into other

stuff - TVP is Textured Vegetable Protein from soy. Soy is low in carbs

and high in protein - hence the value of tofu for people like, say,

ballet dancers who need energy but have to keep their weight down.

You'll also find soy in margarines, and in sauces like tamari and soy

sauce ;=) They're usually dried (except I did see some fresh at our

local farmers' market last year - didn't buy them for some reason ;=(

but . . .). Great stuff!

Thank You....now I feel just silly ....lol....I couldn't figure that out.....man is my record skipping.....I better go and reset it....lol....I know some about soy...I thought that Soya was something separate like yogurt from cheese....not thinking at all that it would actually be another term used for soy products all together....what a silly I am...
