It's really what I needed to read. I don't feel like I've fully recovered from the holidays, but I'm getting there. Although sad as it may be, I didn't have dessert tonight with dinner and that's pretty good for me considering my eating patterns lately. All the Xmas treats are finally out of the house and we just made a huge grocery trip--primarily fresh veggies and fruit. Nothing like a kitchen full of fresh ingredients luring you to make the most of them. I HATE food going bad. Oh, we recently switched to whole-wheat pasta. I can't believe I haven't tried it until now. I couldn't even tell the difference, although I have yet to try it with reg ole spaghetti sauce. We had it with Indian spiced veggies and Spicy Chik'n patties. Yummers.
