Hah, it took me longer than that to realize that I was using gel-caps

for vitamins and herbal rememdies. Don't know where my head was at! ;=(

Anyway, glad to hear that you've made the switch and that you're happy

about it! 15 pounds is not a huge loss (I keep telling myself that

because that's where I'm headed.) - the thing to do is to get started, right?

 

Okay, now you too are asking for recipes< Kerry - as well you might.

I've been sick this week - a cold (not not not the flu, I insist to

myself) - but I'm starting to feel more myself now and figure that by

tomorrow I should be able to send some recently tried recipes. (No use

sending ones that I haven't given a trial run.) Sometimes it helps -

well, it helps me - to lose weight if I turn to different things to eat

from my previous menus - so that the 'eating less' diet is an adventure

rather than a deprivation. That's the theory, anyway *lol*

 

About the chips and cookies: I know what you mean. But I make the rule

for myself, when I'm getting serious, 'no sugar, no fat'. Of course, a

little oil goes into the stir fries and such things (and a little oil is

health beneficial), but it does keep me away from anything deep fried. I

hope. I think. Maybe. ;=(

 

Okay, gotta keep each other --all of us -- on the straight and narrow,

right? Yeah!
