Guest guest
Oh that does sound good ;=) And probably if you switched the egg fried rice for steamed rice and had 'duck' with no pancakes, you could have a similar menu at the end of this year! Actually, one of my favourite restaurants is in Montreal (called Chu Chai) and it has Thai vegan food that simulates its me*t counterparts. Splendid. And congratulations on going vegan! It's a long long road, but it sure is fun on the way ;=) There are all sorts of little pitfalls, I have found (it's been just over a year for me, barring a couple of unavoidable slip ups and a couple of avoidable ones), but it's well worth the effort. Yes, there are lots of vegan recipes in the Files - as well as ovo-lacto ones, of course (since this is a 'Vegetarian' list), but many of those could probably be adapted to vegan. I'll be posting recipes both ovo-lacto and vegan, but will warn in the title which they are and note whether they can be adapted. Okay? Vegetarian 'duck' pancakes, veggie springrolls, egg fried rice, tofu in black bean sauce and deep fried salt and pepper tofu. Yummy! And yes, very fattening! > > My excuse was that it was my last day of being lacto-ovo vegetarian.
