I am still a recipe follower for the most part. Anyways...what did everyone make for Thanksgiving? I made a vegan Tofu-Broccoli-Mushroom Quiche. It was quite delicious and the tofu when baked came out very custardy...much like eggs. Happy Post Thanksgiving! Guest guest Posted November 28, 2003 Report Share Posted November 28, 2003 Glad you liked the recipe ;=) I like making soups - so easy with a blender and a slow cooker/crockpot (although the blender is, frankly, more important, I think!) Could you please please please share your quiche recipe? Unless it's a family secret, which we would all understand, of course. I gave up quiche when I gave up eggs and dairy early this year, but your mentioning it made my mouth water. I'm going to look up some recipes *right* now - and I look forward to hearing more about yours ;=) We're in Canada, so our Thanksgiving was last month - long ago and long forgotten. But I seem to remember doing either a curry or a stew with squash or pumpkin in it in honour of the day ;=) There was just my dh and me for Thanksgiving dinner, so . . .
