Guest guest
Agreed that the high animal protein diet can make one ill ;=( For people like your partner who still eat me*t, organic is indeed safer, just as organic fruits, vegetables and beans, legumes and grains, etc., are safer than those that are full of chemicals. (These also might have been genetically modified in Canada and the USA and *not* be marked accordingly, and many people are very concerned about that too.) Organic me*t costs more, of course. As for your final comment, > I am so glad that I am vegetarian, no offense to any carnivors out there I'm glad too *lol* I don't think carnivores would be offended - after all this is a vegetarian list ;=) It is for *you* to be offended if anyone started up about the benefits of animal protein! Relax, this is a safe haven for all vegetarians and for wannabees ;=) Best, Pat nwestfall wrote: > > Just a note on the Atkins diet. My mate did the diet and became saturated > with meat proteins.
