More on Protein

Hi,

Just had a look at my last post ;=) I *shoulda* mentioned that three

slices of a good wholegrain bread would be fewer calories than that bean

burrito (around 270 instead of 320 or more) and yet provide one-third

more protein (4 grams per slice instead of 9 grams for the single

burrito). It would also contain around 1 gram of fat per slice compared

to 8 grams in the burrito.

But hey, we all like stuff like burritos, don't we? And who counts

calories or protein grams or fat grams these days anyway!!! *lol* But

it'd be a mistake to think that bread and tabouleh had less protein than

a bean burrito. It has fewer calories, as I said, and it is *Hot* in

temperature and *Spicy*, which is satisfying to the tummy. It is also,

obviously, what you were craving and that is always more satisfying than

something that's 'diet' food!

Anyway, I thought I should clear that point up before one of you guys

jumped on me for not mentioning it! *lol*

Now let's all go and eat something relatively sinful for dinner!!!

Best,

Pat
