Yes, it's great that way, isn't it! I make my tabouleh without olive

oil, btw, to save a bit on the fat. Same with the hummus. And if you use

whole grain pita or other bread it tastes really nutty and wonderful -

and yet you can feel virtuous at the same time *lol*

The addition of olive oil to hummus is one of those "family" things. My family, who is Lebanese, has never added oil to hummus (we *do* add it to tabouli, however. But families from other parts of Lebanon add oil to the top of the hummus before serving. I've never gotten used to the taste with the added oil, which is just as well ...
