what is on your menu and grocery list this week?

Hi everyone!

 

what are you intending to eat this week?I dont know about you but if

i plan ahead at least a week or even 2 i tend to stick to a lower fat

way more..i can grocery shop better with les sleft over veggies or

waste.One place i love to hunt for recipe sis this link

they have a TON of fat free - lower fat recipes...

 

i like to undercook batches of pasta and then freeze in individual

portions then i toss in a pot of boiling water for a quick dinner..i

then either adda sauce i have frozen nd or veggies that are left overs

that way i use up what i have

 

i will post a menu and list tommorow ..first stop is market..i have a

general idea of what and how many veggie sto use..and what i cant use

i cook in a sauce and freeze for a quick dinner on some busy rush

day..

 

i have in my cubbards at all times ...

pasta penne,ziti,lasagna,manaicoti,bowties ,linguine,angel hair

rissoto

jasmine rice,whole wheat rice,indian rice (at least 3-5)

canned..

beans,peas,tomatoes & paste and sauce,garbonzos,chick peas,red

kidney,navy

i always go to aldis to get

fruit,watermelon,cantalope,blueberries,strawberries,mangos

i then have been picking up at market this...

asparagus

tomatoes

eggplant

onions

leeks

mushrooms

WOW that looks liek alot but i find if i keep at least one can /bag

of each i am pretty set

i also have a few bags of ff cheeses & reg for kids and i make a

yummy tofu echalladia(SP?) thats the only way we will eat tofu lol
