Guest guest
I'm planning on starting the " Carbohydrate Addicts Diet " soon. Has anyone else in this group tried any of the low-carb diets? It seems it's going to be a little bit challenging considering the focus on meat. From what I know of the Atkins Diet, that diet seems impossible, but " CAD " seems to allow more options. I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian so I'll have to incorporate more eggs into my menu planning, but I'd like to find other more high-protein/low- carb alternatives. Any input is appreciated. Thanks! * There's been a recent pick up of activity in this group. Let's keep it going. :-)

Guest guest
Over the past year I have been leaning toward becoming a veetarian. Now I've been a vegetarian since May and has lost a lot of weight. I've gone from 228 down to 185. I am 5' 9" medium frame. Now I seem to be stuck at my current weight and can't seem to get past it. Any suggestions. My desired weight is 170nicole Panos <N1kolleta wrote: ive trtied...several ...but it is VERY hard and i ended up getting dizzy light headed ect..so i stopped the most was 2 weeks. when trying to lose weight or trim up i adopt stirfry ALOT into meal plans..they are quick nutricious ect..i have been searching on web alot (started as a recipe search)and am intrested in it alot lately..for what you are looking at the zone whould work good for you i think..although i am soo busy cant stand the counting ect..ok purhaps in my old age im lazy more lol the best bet would be to find sites on all compare diffrances then try writing a sample menu for a week for both...the one which alows the most variety would work best...also the most confiance foods..if your busy like me!let us know what you find and what you decided to do!warm RegardsNicciiP.S weight watchers has a low carb plan as well i heard..i will let you know...i sent away for the at home kit! should come any day! , "Jahvada" <Jahvada> wrote:> I'm planning on starting the "Carbohydrate Addicts Diet" soon. Guest guest
Hi, Are you eating dairy products? That's when I started to loose more weight when I cut the dairy products. My diet is vegan and I work out almost every day for 30 minutes to maintain my weight. Hang in there you are doing great!
