Just outside Dallas

4) How long have you been a vegetarian/vegan, or how long have you

been ionterested in cooking vegetarian food?

I've been a vegetarian/vegan for 2 years

5) What is your favourite food or meal?

Probably a greek salad, a cheese-less homemade pizza (olive oil,

herbs, tomatoe slices), and a glass of red wine.

6) Why did you join the group?

 

I need motivation, support, encouragement from like-minded people.

 

7) Is there anything specific you want to get out of the group?

Ideas, motivation, and support.

8) Tell us a few of your favourite things.

My children, my husband, family, friends, food, books, cooking.....

you know, it would serve me well to have exercise included on the

list.

9) Do you know of any internet sites or other groups which maybe

relevant to members?

Not that I can think of.

10) Is there anything else you'd like to share with the group?

I'm a SAH mom, home-educating my two little boys (5 & 7). I'm

vegetarian and don't do dairy. The rest of the family is vegetarian,

and I hope one day to have them off of dairy completely (it's that

pizza cheese & tex-mex food that they can't seem to do without). I

need to get into a regular exercise routine, walking, yoga, and

isometrics is about the only thing I can do with my " wonderful "

knees. If I'd just lose weight my knees wouldn't be so bad. Ü I have

a LOT to lose and am committed to doing it.
