Guest guest
Hi, Thanks for the email. Others of you may have guessed that Christine/woodenbowl is my boyfriend's mum. Interestingly Russ (my boyf) is talking about cutting his meat intake right down so he only has it occasionally. He's thinking about it for health reasons because he needs to lose weight too. I should be doing more yoga, meditation and generally getting more exercise. I just feel so exhausted all the time at the moment that its hard to find the energy. I'm seeing the doctor about it this week. The weather is a bit funny at the moment, i think about going out for a walk but the sky is so cloudy i think its gonna rain any moment!I am feeling more motivated though. I'm my heaviest ever and i need to shift it. But i know its gonna be a long struggle. I want to lose almost 3 stone to get to the average weight for my height. You'd never believe it to look at me though. I think my bum is taking the brunt of that extra weight though! LOL I'm trying to eat less and drink more which i think will work but the hardest thing is snacking while at work. My colleagues enjoy cakes, biscuits, chips at lunch and many many cups of hot tea and coffee. I'm attempting no snacks, a small lunch, and just fruit or herbal teas. I've managed to do it for a few days this week but wish me luck everyone! ;-) Anyway, must go have another drink, have a nice weekend, Laura x "Christine" Hi there,I think that I know a bit about how you feel! How about concentrating your energies into yoga and meditation! It's rather a strange comment for me to suggest, but just concentrating on deep breathing will help to calm you down (hah, hah)! Then get that bike out and also that exercise ball. After that, thinking about the fact that you are feeling a bit more motivated, enjoyyour favourite vegan meal and go out for a lovely long walk! You've just come back from a lovely week's holiday and feeling "down in the dumps".By the way a smaller plate will give you a smaller meal, so long as you also use a smaller saucepan. If you eat a little less and start your meals with a glass of water, you'll lose the craving for a little bit more food and theweight should come off ;-)Also the less you eat, the more money you'll have in you pocket!! And start yesterday rather than tomorrow ;-) Give it a week and see what happens! If it works tell Russ, but if it doesn't, he need never know how stupid his Mum is, mind you he knows that already, I guess!Good luck, and if you smiled yesterday then that's a start isn't it?wb Plus - For a better Internet experience
