Here is the bread machine recipe from a friend that taste great! This recipe uses the bread machine to mix and knead the dough. You should have just a dough setting on your machine, use that one. Dough Time....2 hours - leave extra 30 mins to "rest" in bread maker. I have a friend that makes whole wheat hamburger buns from this recipe. I only use 1 Tbsp. of sugar and it tastes great. More bread recipes follow this week. I have a cheese bread recipe...very good with a soup :-)

This part if always the same...

1 3/4 c. water

2 tsp. shortening

2 Tbsp. powdered milk

2 Tbsp. sugar

1 1/2 tsp. (1/2 Tbsp.) salt

This part is for WHITE Bread

3 1/2 c. unbleached flour

3/4 c. seed mix

1 1/2 tsp. yeast (1/2 Tbsp)

OR

This part for WHOLE WHEAT Bread

2 1/2 c. unbleached flour

1 c. whole wheat flour

3/4 c. seed mix

1 1/2 tsp. yeast (1/2 Tbsp)

Dough Time....2 hours - leave extra 30 mins to "rest" in bread maker.

Take out of bread maker, form into loaves for buns., let rise for 1/2 hour (i put mine on the warm stove or top of the fridge (a warm place). Bake for 25 min at 350.

Seed mix can be whatever you want...12 grain, flax, sunflower seeds, grains, cracked wheat etc.
