You should have just a dough setting on your machine, use that one. Dough Time....2 hours - leave extra 30 mins to "rest" in bread maker. I have a friend that makes whole wheat hamburger buns from this recipe. I only use 1 Tbsp. of sugar and it tastes great. More bread recipes follow this week. I have a cheese bread recipe...very good with a soup :-) This part if always the same... 1 3/4 c. water 2 tsp. shortening 2 Tbsp. powdered milk 2 Tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. (1/2 Tbsp.) salt This part is for WHITE Bread 3 1/2 c. unbleached flour 3/4 c. seed mix 1 1/2 tsp. yeast (1/2 Tbsp) OR This part for WHOLE WHEAT Bread 2 1/2 c. unbleached flour 1 c. whole wheat flour 3/4 c. seed mix 1 1/2 tsp. yeast (1/2 Tbsp) Dough Time....2 hours - leave extra 30 mins to "rest" in bread maker. Take out of bread maker, form into loaves for buns., let rise for 1/2 hour (i put mine on the warm stove or top of the fridge (a warm place). Bake for 25 min at 350.
