Guest guest Posted February 19, 2003 Report Share Posted February 19, 2003 Pasta with cherry tomato sauce Serves 4 450g/1 lb cherry tomatoes pinch golden caster sugar 1 onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 tsp dried oregano 5 tbsp vegetable stock 350g/12oz pasta (penne if poss) Put cherry tomatoes, sugar, onion, garlic, oregano, and stock into a saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes over a low heat. Season to taste. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large pan of lightly salted boiling water. Drain well, toss with fresh tomato sauce.
