I am exactly the same Susan. there's always one excuse or another

to eat something i shouldn't - work partys, birthdays, anniversaries

etc. I think thats what i meant when i said i forgot to not eat

chocolate! Then there's always the next day! Its that kind of

attitude that gets me into trouble! ;)

This is something i've started doing too. I'm so lazy sometimes but

if i can do this i eat a lot less, and it does seem to affect the

way i see it. All of a sudden it looks so much bigger than i

thought initially. 200g of potatoes seems huge!

I'm feeling really crazy and out of control these days, but really I

do better other times. I'm working too much and getting too

emotionally extended. I need to start meditating regularly

(Buddhist) and I think that will help. The more I meditate the

better *everything* in my life gets.

I really need to do this more often too. I am not a buddhist, i'm

not anything, but i do meditate, try to practice yoga and spend time

relaxing. Actually i've recently started writing a journal, not

related to food but just general, and have found that it helps loads

with stress and problem solving etc. I highly recommend it to

anyone. If anyone is interested let me know and i'll post you the

links to some really cool sites about it. One is an article

explaining a bit about why its good for your health.

I have to go now because i've been sorting out my emails etc for the

last 3 hours!!! Can you believe it.

Anyway, we'll soon be back to recipes and diet tips, motivation

etc. i have lots of interesting articles to post but have not had

time so far because my time was taken up sorting out the

groups " problem " . Now this is sorted i hope i can give you all some

more info to think about,

good night to you all,

Laura
