Oh, no we don't, no fatty fries for us! I will find a healthier

recipe and post it to the group instead. I have to admit that I am a

weak link in this group as far as eating a healthy diet, so I will do

my best to watch out for us. I will not sabotage you, my friend! I

will find us a better way!!

I bake my fries. Still fattening but using olive oil

which is wonderful and purposely put in my body daily

to receive the wonderful benefits of monounsaturated

fat. Anyway, I cut my potatoes (I use golden or

red...The waxier, the better for you...Of course using

sweet potatoes is the healthiest by far). Put olive

oil (couple or so Tblsp) into a big plastic ziploc

bag...Put potato wedges in along with whatever herbs

and/or spices you want. Shake to coat and put into a

425 degree oven for about an hour. You can play with

the temp and time but that usually works for me.

Anyway, they're wonderful and a great compliment for

your blackbean burgers:)

Warmly,

Allison
