Guest guest
Just have to jump in! Not that I'm big on labeling but here is a list of definitions for vegetarians (I think we all will fit into one of these). Whether or not you all agree with these, this is what they are. And they're all *considered* vegetarian. THE TYPES OF VEGETARIANS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Pesco vegetarian - eats fish Pollo vegetarian - eats chicken Peso, Pollo vegetarian - eats fish and chicken Lacto ovo vegetarian - eats milk and eggs Ovo vegetarian - eats eggs Lacto vegetarian - eats dairy True vegetarian aka Vegan - eats no amimal products, including honey and does not wear leather or wool. Basically having nothing to do with anything that came from or off of an animal. It's not only a diet but a way of life. Warmly, Allison (lacto ovo vegetarian - love my cheese and eggs but do not eat flesh). --- Susan Cogan <susan-brassfield wrote: > >Ron: Apparently there are different reasons for > being vegan > >and different definitions of what vegan is. Guest guest
Thanks for that. Now I know that I am a Lacto Vegetarian. Someday I want to be a vegan, but I have a long way to go before I can do that. for one thing, I need to find a health food store. ~Sara Lacto vegetarian - eats dairy Entertainment-World/ TRL-artists-picsNfun/ TheWB-Chat/
