Kathleen * Exported from MasterCook * Curried Egg Salad In A Pocket Recipe By : Healthful cooking, Mary Carroll, Star Tribune 5/01 Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Sandwiches Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 hard-cooked eggs 2 ribs celery -- chopped 1 tablespoon raisins 2 teaspoons reduced-fat mayonnaise 1 teaspoon sweet pickle relish 1/4 teaspoon curry powder -- up to 1/2 OR to taste 1 pinch celery seed Salt -- to taste 2 large white pita breads Serves 4. Peel eggs and place in bowl. Chop finely. Add celery, raisins, mayonnaise, relish, curry powder, celery seed and salt. Mash together. Halve pita pockets and open carefully.
