Tabouli Mix - TCV

6 c bulgur

1/2 c dried parsley

2 tbsps salt

2 tbsps dried mint flakes

1 tbsp lemon zest -- optional

1 tbsp dried garlic flakes -- or granules

1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

 

In a jar with a tightly fitting lid, mix all ingredients.

NOTES : Tabouli is a traditional salad served in many Mid-Eastern

households. Its wonderful mixeture of flavors, from tangy lemon to

refreshing mint, improves when allowed to sit for several hours. As with

most grain salads, it is best to serve this dish at room temperature.

 

Use to make: Basic Tabouli and Tabouli with Garbanzo Beans and Vegetables.
