Onion-Flavored Rice with Sauteed Mushrooms and Garlic -TCV

1 tbsp olive oil

1 1/2 c sliced mushrooms -- up to 2 cups (about 16

mushrooms)

1 garlic clove -- minced

3 c cooked basic onion-flavored rice

1 tsp garlic-infused olive oil -- optional

 

In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat, and saute mushrooms until

just slightly browned, 4 minutes. Add garlic and saute briefly. Stir in

the Basic onion flavored rice, and add garlic-infused olive oil for a rich

flavoring, if desired.
