Guest guest Posted May 14, 2001 Report Share Posted May 14, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Basic Vegetarian " Meatballs " - TCV Recipe By :Virginia Messina and Kate Schumann Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 7/8 c boiling water 1 c textured soy protein -- (TVP) 1 c soft bread crumbs 1/2 c vegetarian " meatball " mix 1 tbsp soy sauce oil -- for sauteing In a small bowl, pour the water over texture vegetable protein; set aside. In a medium bowl, combine tvp, bread crumbs, vegetarian " meatball " mix and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly. Form into 1-inch balls. In a large pan, heat the oil over medium heat, and saute the " meatballs " in oil until brown.
