Guest guest Posted May 14, 2001 Report Share Posted May 14, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Basic Tabouli -TCV Recipe By :Virginia Messina and Kate Schumann Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/3 c tabouli mix 1 1/2 c boiling water 1/4 c freshly squeezed lemon juice 1/4 c olive oil 2 med tomatoes -- chopped 1 bunch scallions -- thinly sliced (about 6 scallions) 1 cucumber -- chopped (about 2 cups) salt -- to taste In a medium bowl, combine Tabouli Mix and water. Let stand until water is absorbed and the bulgur is chewable, about 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients, mix thoroughly, and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Adjust seasonings with lemon juice and salt, if desired, right before serving.
