Walnut Frichik

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup walnuts

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 medium green peppers -- cut into strips

2 carrots -- slices diagonally

1 12.5 oz can Worthington® Frichik®

4 green onions -- sliced diagonally

3 cups cooked brown rice

seasoning sauce:

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

3 tablespoons soy sauce

 

In a large skillet on high heat, stir fry walnuts in oil for 3 minutes. Remove

walnuts and set aside.

 

Add green peppers and carrots to skillet; stir fry until crisp tender. Remove

vegetables and set aside.

 

Add WORTHINGTON FRICHIK to skillet. Stir fry for 3 minutes. Add seasoning

sauce, walnuts, green peppers, carrots and green onions to FRICHIK. Toss

together until thoroughly coated.

 

Serve over warm rice.
