Veggie Pepper Steak

1 14 oz can vegetable broth

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1 green pepper -- cut into strips

1 small onion -- slivered

2 tablespoons cold water

1 tablespoon cornstarch

6 Morningstar Farms® Quarter Prime Patties

3 cups cookied rice

 

In medium saucepan, combine broth, sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic powder,

tomatoes and onion. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and allow to

simmer for 15 minutes.

 

Make a paste of water and cornstarch. While stirring constantly, add cornstarch

mixture to hot broth mixture. Stir until thickened. Add green pepper strips 5

minutes before serving.

 

Heat MORNINGSTAR FARMS QUARTER PRIME patties according to package directions.

Placed each cooked pattie on top of cooked rice. Pour sauce over patties and

rice.
