Guest guest Posted May 7, 2001 Report Share Posted May 7, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Vegetarian Goulash Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Morningstar Farms Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 20 ounces Worthington® Vegetable Steaks -- drained and diced 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 cup chopped onions 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1 14.5 oz can tomato pieces -- undrained 1 15 oz can tomato sauce 1 7 oz can mushroom stems and pieces -- drained 1 medium green pepper -- chopped 1 celery stalk -- chopped 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon paprika 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon parsley flakes 2 bay leaves In a large saucepan on medium heat, brown WORTHINGTON Vegetable Steaks in oil. Add onion and sauté until tender. Stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove bay leaves before serving.
