Guest guest Posted May 6, 2001 Report Share Posted May 6, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Sauteed Haricots Verts with Horseradish Recipe By : Voluptuous Vegan - Kornfeld Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : **Voluptuous Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Salt 1 1/2 lbs haricots verts or green beans -- trimmed and washed 3 cloves garlic -- minced 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp red wine vinegar freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp freshly grated horseradish, or prepared horseradish Bring large saucepan of lightly salted water to boil. Add beans and blanch for 3-5 minutes, or until cooked but still crisp. Drain and refresh with cold water. Drain. In medium skillet, over medium-low heat, heat garlic and oil until garlic barely begins to color and until heated through, about 4 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent garlic from sticking and burning. Add vinegar, salt and pepper, then turn off heat and toss in horseradish.
