Anytime Cucumber Slices

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

4 lg cucumbers -- sliced

2 med onions -- thinly sliced

3 tbsp minced fresh dill or 1 tbsp dill weed

1 c sugar

1/2 c vinegar

1/2 c water

1 tsp salt

 

In a bowl, combine cucumbers, onions and dill. In a saucepan, combine

sugar, vinegar, water and salt; bring to a boil. Pour over cucumber

mixture. Cover and chill for 3 hours or overnight.
