Guest guest Posted May 3, 2001 Report Share Posted May 3, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Strata with Breakfast Strips and Gorgonzola Recipe By : Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Morningstar Farms Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 16 oz. french bread loaf 3 4 oz cartons Morningstar Farms® Scramblers® -- thawed 4 slices Morningstar Farms® Breakfast Strips -- prepared and cut into bite size pieces 3 1/4 cups 1% low-fat milk 1 cup low-fat ricotta cheese 1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper -- (1/4-1/2) 1 3/4 cups diced plum tomato 1 cup chopped onions 1 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary Slice bread into 1-inch rounds. Place bread on baking sheet and lightly toast. Set aside. Prepare MORNINGSTAR FARMS Breakfast Strips per package instructions. Cut into bite-size pieces. Combine milk, MORNINGSTAR SCRAMBLERS, cheese and red pepper; stir until well-blended. In a separate bowl, combine tomato, onions and rosemary. Arrange toasted bread slices in a single layer in 9 x 13 cooking dish coated with cooking spray. Spoon tomato mixture evenly over bread slices. Pour milk mixture over tomato mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight. Bake at 350º F uncovered for 45-55 minutes or until set. Serve hot.
