1 stick unsalted butter -- softened

1 tablespoons minced fresh chives

1 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves

2 teaspoons minced fresh tarragon leaves

1 teaspoon dijon-style mustard

salt and pepper -- to taste

 

In a small bowl cream together the butter, the chives, the parsley, the

tarragon, the mustard, and salt and pepper to taste. Let the

butter stand, covered, in a cool place for 1 hour to allow the flavors to

develop.
