Guest guest Posted April 30, 2001 Report Share Posted April 30, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING Recipe By :Laura Nilsen Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salad Dressings Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 ounces silken tofu 4 tablespoons chili sauce 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar 2 tablespoons chopped pimiento-stuffed green olives 2 tablespoons pickle relish 1/2 teaspoon paprika Salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional) 1 hard-boiled egg -- minced (optional) I. In a blender or food processor, com- bine tofu, chili sauce, and vinegar. Process until smooth. 2. Transfer mixture to a mixing bowl. Stir in olives, relish, paprika, salt, pepper, and chives and egg if using. Chill several hours before serving to let flavors develop.
