Guest guest Posted April 21, 2001 Report Share Posted April 21, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Garden Veggie Pattie with Curried Mango Sauce Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Morningstar Farms Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 4-serving package rice pilaf 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped red pepper 1/8 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons peeled grated fresh ginger 1 teaspoon curry powder 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander 2 cloves crushed garlic 1/2 cup vegetable broth 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch 1 large thinly sliced fresh mango 1 9.5 oz package Morningstar Farms® Garden Veggie Patties® 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions Prepare rice pilaf per instructions. While rice is cooking, prepare mango sauce. Heat oil in pan. Sauté onions and pepper and until onions are translucent, stirring occasionally. Add salt, ginger, curry powder, coriander and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds. Combine broth and cornstarch, add to pan. Bring to a boil and cook minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in mango. Set aside. Prepare MORNINGSTAR FARMS GARDEN VEGGIE PATTIES per package instructions. Portion rice onto 4 plates; top with MORNINGSTAR FARMS GARDEN VEGGIE PATTIES, mango sauce and green onions.
