Guest guest
Joanne ( & all): I can find the Cavender's Greek Seasoning in the spice section of my local grocery store. It's in one of those round cardboard-type containers with a shaker top (yellow with red border & writing). The ingredients list " perfectly prepared blend of 13 ingredients " : salt, black pepper, cornstarch, garlic, MSG, oregano, sugar, onion powder, spice extractives, parsley and five other spices. In case you can't find it, the following are two recipes for making your own Greek seasoning. Both are very different, but I've never tried them to compare to the Cavender's. * Exported from MasterCook * Greek Seasoning Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:15 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 tablespoon crushed thyme 1 tablespoon crushed rosemary 1 tablespoon lemon pepper 1 tablespoon garlic pepper Pulse thyme and rosemary in mini-processor.
