Burros' Bulgur Pilaf

2 scallions

1 tablespoon corn --safflower or canola oil

1/2 cup bulgur

1 cup chicken or beef bouillon or stock

2 tablespoons raisins --or more

1/8 teaspoon allspice

 

Slice scallions and saute in hot oil with bulgur for about 1 minute.

Stir in bouillon, raisins and allspice. Cover and reduce heat. Cook over medium

heat about 10 minutes, until liquid has been

absorbed and bulgur is cooked.
