I especially need main dish, and kid friendly ideas. We're going to my 80 year old widowed father's house for one of the seders. He cooks very simply, and I always have to bring something for myself and the kids since he claims he " doesn't know how " to cook anything vegetarian. Truth is, he just doesn't want to bother. Oh well. He even suggested that I bring the leftovers of whatever my mother-in-law makes for me the night before! :-) She probably won't make anything special for me, but at her seder there will be enough non-meat side dishes to make a meal out of. I can just see packing up all her leftovers to take to my Dad's house! Does anyone know of a recipe for cookies made from cake mix (regular, not for Passover,) that might be in the archives? I checked them, but there was no recipe title that was obvious. If there is one, and anyone remembers the actual recipe name, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
