Guest guest Posted March 24, 2001 Report Share Posted March 24, 2001 this needs fresh tasty almonds * Exported from MasterCook * Almond Paste Recipe By :Recipe from Mary Beth Jung, CW Food Editor Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Blender and Processor Nuts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups whole blanched almonds -- (8 ounces) 1 1/2 cups sifted confectioner's sugar -- (5 ounces) 1 egg white 1 teaspoon almond extract 1/4 teaspoon salt In a food processor, grind half the almonds until very fine. Remove and repeat with remaining almonds. Total ground nuts will yield 1 3/4 cups. Put all nuts and remaining ingredients in the food processor. Cover and process until a paste forms. Gather together and store, tightly sealed, in a plastic bag. Yield: 1 1/3 cups (13 ounces) Description: " Can't Find It? Fix It!
