Nachos

24 tortilla chips

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1 fresh or jarred jalapeño peppers -- up to 2

seeded and thinly sliced

 

Lacto.

 

Makes: 24 nachos; serves: 4 to 6

 

I definitely prefer using homemade chips for this recipe, since they tend

to be sturdier than packaged chips.

 

1. Preheat broiler.

 

2. Arrange chips close together on a heat-proof platter. Sprinkle with

Cheddar cheese. Sprinkle jalapeño peppers over the cheese.

 

3. Place under broiler until cheese is melted, about 3 minutes.
