Guest guest Posted March 22, 2001 Report Share Posted March 22, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Maple Almond Milk Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Beverages Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 cups water 3/4 cup sprouted almonds (see note) 1 tablespoon maple syrup or to taste 1/2 teaspoon vanilla In a blender, combine 2 cups of the water and the almonds. Puree for 1 minute. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a 1-quart bowl or jar. Place pulp from the strainer back into the blender, add remaining 1 cup water, and puree for 1 minute. Strain, as above, combine with previously strained milk. Discard pulp. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla. Stir or shake to combine. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 days.
