Guest guest Posted March 22, 2001 Report Share Posted March 22, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Silken Strawberry Topping Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Fruit Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 12-ounce package extra-firm silken tofu, drained 1/4 cup honey (up to 1/3 cup) 2 tablespoons berry-flavored liqueur, such as framboise or creme de cassis (optional) 4 cups fresh strawberries, washed, dried, hulls removed (or 1 pound frozen berries, partially thawed) In a food processor or blender, puree tofu until creamy, about 30 seconds, scraping down sides as needed. Add 1/4 cup of the honey and the liqueur, if using. Puree until well-blended. Add strawberries and puree until smooth, scraping down sides as needed. (Add more honey, if desired). Cover and chill to desired temperature.
