Low fat Makes: 8 slices; serves: 4 Serve this dish as dessert or even as an appetizer at brunch. 1. Preheat the broiler. 2. In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, butter or margarine, and bourbon. 3. Place the pineapple slices in one layer on a baking sheet. Brush with 1/2 of the sugar mixture. Broil 6 inches from heat for 5 minutes. 4. Turn the slices and brush with remaining sugar mixture. Broil 5 minutes longer. Variations: For a nonalcoholic version, use orange juice instead of liquor.
