I wondered how that would work. I had embedded recipes within embedded recipes.

Looks like the first set went, but not the others. I'll post them separately.

Quick Tomato Sauce

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 medium cloves garlic -- minced

1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes

2 tablespoons minced fresh basil or parsley leaves

salt & freshly ground pepper

 

Heat the oil in a medium saucepan. Add the garlic and saut over medium heat

until golden, about 2 minutes.

 

Add the tomatoes, basil or parsley, and salt & pepper to taste. Bring to a

simmer, lower the heat, and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.

Adjust the seasonings. Use immediately or store in an airtight container (the

sauce can be refrigerated for 2 days or frozen for several months).
