Sweetened Condensed Soymilk

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup unbleached sugar

2/3 cup boiling water

6 tablespoons soy milk powder

5 tablespoons soy protein isolate powder

1 tablespoon melted nondairy margarine

 

Combine all the ingredients in a blender, and process until the sugar is

dissolved and the mixture is thick. Pour into a clean jar, cover, and

refigerate. The milk thickens when chilled.

 

Description:

" This can be used in baking and candy-making instead of canned

condensed dairy milk. It's fast to make and keeps in the refrigerator

for several weeks. "
