Guest guest Posted March 5, 2001 Report Share Posted March 5, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies Recipe By : Lisa Turner Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cookies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup rolled oats 1 cup unsalted butter -- softened 1 1/4 cups date sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups malt-sweetened chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease baking sheets. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and oats. In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by tablespoons onto baking sheets and bake on middle rack for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden. Cool on racks.
