Guest guest Posted March 4, 2001 Report Share Posted March 4, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Broccoli Salad Recipe By :Southern Living, March 2001 Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : March, 2001 Salads & Dressings Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 cups chopped fresh broccoli 1 medium purple onion -- chopped 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill 2 tablespoons capers -- drained* 1/4 cup chopped pecans -- toasted (optional)* DRESSING: 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup olive oil 1 clove garlic -- minced 1/2 tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper TOSS together first 5 ingredients. Cover and chill 30 minutes. Sprinkle with pecans before serving, if desired. Dressing: WHISK together all ingredients. Yield: about 2/3 cup.
