Low fat Makes 2 2/3 cups; serves 12 to 16 Not quite as easy, but even better, is to start with 2 cups finely chopped fresh tomatoes instead of the canned. 1. Place all the ingredients except the chopped tomatoes in a blender or food processor container fitted with a steel blade. Cover and process until finely chopped. 2. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the chopped tomatoes. Let stand at least one hour for the flavors to meld.
