Remove from the heat and whisk in the water, soy sauce, salt, and Kitchen Bouquet, if desired. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer on low for 4 to 5 minutes. Microwave Option: In a 1 1/2-quart microwave-proof bowl, mix the yeast and flour. Cook uncovered in the microwave on high for 3 minutes. Whisk in the remaining ingredients, cover, and cook on high for 3 minutes. Whisk again, cover, and cook on high again for 3 minutes. Whisk. You can also make half the recipe in a 4-cup microwave-safe measuring container.
