We use Yves Veggie Ground Round. * Exported from MasterCook * Taco Pizza Recipe By :Sue Spitler Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/3 package (12 ounce size) prebrowned vegetable protein crumbles 1 to 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix 2/3 cup water olive oil spray Cornmeal Pizza Dough 1/2 cup shredded fat-free cheddar cheese 1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat Monterey Jack cheese 1/2 large green bell pepper -- sliced 1 cup lettuce -- chopped 1/2 cup tomato -- chopped 6 tablespoons fat-free sour cream 6 tablespoons salsa Combine vegetable protein crumbles, taco seasoning mix, and water in medium saucepan; heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until mixture is dry, about 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Spray 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray; spread dough on pan, making rim around edge. Sprinkle dough with vegetable protein crumbles, cheeses, and bell pepper. Bake pizza at 425 degrees until crust is browned, 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle with lettuce and tomato and serve immediately with sour cream and salsa. Mix in enough of remaining 1/2 cup flour to make a soft dough. Knead dough on floured surface until smooth and elastic, 3-5 minutes. Cover dough with bowl; let stand 15 minutes before using. Spread dough on pan according to directions in pizza recipes.
