But I love figs and chocolate, if anyone's interested, I discovered www.franschocolates.com which sells and makes glorious dark chocolate ganache-stuffed figs which are also half dipped in dark chocolate. Yum! * Exported from MasterCook * Tofu Chocolate Fig Tarts Recipe By :Soy Desserts - Patricia Greenberg Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 3-inch graham cracker tart shells 12 ounces regular tofu 1/2 cup sugar or light granulated cane juice 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 8 fresh Calimyrna figs -- thinly sliced Prepare tart shells according to the recipe or use storebought crusts. In a food processor, puree the tofu until smooth. Add the sugar and cocoa; continue to process until thoroughly combined. Pour the mixture evenly into the individual tart shells and shinngle the fiigs across the top of the tart. Chill for 1 hour and serve.
